Matthew 25:35
For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
1 Corinthians 13:4
Charity suffereth long and is kind;
charity envieth not;
charity vaunteth not itself;
is not puffed up.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, and charity,
these three;
but the greatest of these is charity.

Thursdays would get real old if I kept blogging about how great I am at serving others. Because frankly, that doesn't sound like true charity to me... "Look at me! I did _____ for someone."
So I thought it would be more appropriate today to blog about the charitable acts of kindness I've received just this week.
And all the others I can't list. We all need to help one another in good times & in not so good times. How blessed we all are to have each other.
Take a charity inventory in your life this week. You'll feel more loved & want to spread some of that love around.
P.S. Stop by tomorrow to see the AMAZING giveaway I have planned. Also, the winner for last week's tennis giveaway will be announced tomorrow so leave a comment if you haven't already! Good luck!

*Like a neighbor who fixed all of my electrical problems & refused payment.
{His only request were some homemade cookies.}
*Or a friend who wanted to take Son for a few hours
so I could have some down time while Dot napped.
*Or a dance mom who donated two big bags of dance shoes this morning
because "she didn't know what to do with them."
*Or a kind friend who gave me a bag full of lettuce from her fruitful garden.
*Or my Mom taking Son & I to a movie & dinner
because she knew I'd be lonely while Husband was away on business.
*Or my Dad watching Dot so I could go.
*Or a smile & kind word from a stranger as we waited in line at Cafe Rio's taco night.
He could tell I had my hands full.
*Or my sister sending us a love package from California.
*Or Husband watching the kids so I could have some Me-time.
*Or Son helping me clean up & then giving me a sweet hug & kiss just because.
*Or a friend who picked up the kids from preschool so I could take Dot to swimming lessons.
