Things of summer that made me OH SO HAPPY

This summer was a delight. It came, it was hot & it went.
There are so many memorable, miscellaneous
things that made me feel warm & fuzzy inside.
Here's just a few... in no particular order.

Except particularly him. He's always #1.

Mi Familia. La Costa, Carsbad

The beach. Laguna Beach, CA

Tiny footprints.

Happy, blissful, sandy moments.

Dot's fascination with "mate-up."

Dressing Son up as a girl is always fun.

In case any of you are wondering, Husband outdid himself this year. He planned an overnight excursion to Arizona's #1 Resort, the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa. It was RIDICULOUS. Ridiculous. ridiculous. Please look at the website & go if you get the chance. It was an experience. If I had never been to Arizona before & I went to this resort... I would desperately want to move here.
We were in the midst of mountains, palms & endless sunsets.

Happy 30th. We snuggled outside by the pool in a dark corner & listened to a fantastic band. We were grownups. We then headed to Houston's for my favorite chicken salad, Biltmore Special & rhubarb cherry crisp with a vanilla scoop to celebrate.

Thank you Hus for planning an amazing birthday getaway.
Looking forward to 30 more years with you please. Lucky, lucky girl.

This kitty & all her cleverness.
Humor
is definitely a sign of intelligence in our home & is rewarded as such.

Hail in Hell. Since when does it hail in AZ in August? Thank you UP stairs.

The bookcase project. From dark to light.

My kids & their photography skills catching me at my most beautiful.

Husband's famous Whole Wheat Pancakes every Sunday morning.

The porch swing project; a family affair.

Happy 9th in Seattle

Butchart Gardens, Victoria, B.C.

My goofy friends. How you make my world go round.
Thanks for a radical summer. See ya on the flip side.
